The following education statistics are from the 2011 census:
* The level of educational attainment of Marshallese people is still not good as 28.6 percent of people aged 25 or older started high school, but did not complete it.
* Only 80 percent of children aged from five to nine are enrolled in school; 92 percent of chidlren aged from 10-14 are in school, while only 38 percent of youth aged from 15 to 24 are in school.
* The rate of literacy or the ability to read, write and understand a simple sentence in any language is rated at 90.6 percent.
