The main Western Union office is at RRE in Uliga.
Credit cards: Only the larger hotels, restaurants and stores accept credit cards.
Foreign exchange: Before exchanging foreign money, be sure to ask the exchange rate (for reasons that will become obvious).
Money transfers: These can be made through Western Union in the RRE office opposite RRE Hotel in Uliga or at Island Pride Supermarket in Delap. The Bank of Marshall Islands also has the MoneyGram service.
Wire transfers: Receiving wire transfers of money is generally free, but sending money out is expensive (check with the bank first).
Social Security: Retirement and health fund taxes are the domain of the Marshall Islands Social Security Administration, more commonly known as MISSA. See their website below:
