Layered Bean Dip

Super easy layered bean dip that takes 40 minutes to make (including 30 minutes in the oven).

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1/3 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 6 green onions (chopped)
  1. Combine beans and onion in a baking dish.
  2. Spread sour cream over beans and top with salsa and then layer on the cheese.
  3. Cover with lid or aluminum foil and bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.

I didn’t have any salsa, so I made my own using a can of diced tomatoes and added half a dozen sliced jalapenos from a jar (finely diced).
